Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer 2011!

I’m so excited to share that we are participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer for the first time this year! If you haven’t yet heard of Boston Bakes it’s an amazing organization which orchestrates a week of fundraising for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by having local bakeries & restaurants create special desserts. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these desserts go to Dana-Farber at the end of the week.

For our special Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer dessert I have designed a 6 cookie gift pack consisting of a flower pot cookie, a seed packet cookie, a large heat with the “Boston Bakes” swirl logo, and 3 mini heart cookies. The cookies come packaged in a white pillow box finished with hot pink satin ribbon. Each gift box is $15 and can be shipped anywhere within the United States. Shipping to New England/NY is $6 for the first gift box and $1 for each additional box headed to the same address. These are perfect little gifts for Mother’s Day that are not only a sweet treat but also support a great cause!!

Finally, some holiday cookie pictures!! These are holiday cookies that we made into gift boxes for clients (a dozen per box) and I’m happy to say that the last box was shipped yesterday and I can finally take a deep breath, work on some gifts, and enjoy the holidays!

Noah’s Ark Cookies

December seems to be the month of 1st and 2nd birthdays! I think that I’ve had more orders and inquiries for children’s party cookies in the past few weeks then I’ve had almost all year long! These fun Noah’s ark cookies were for the 1st birthday party of a little boy named Noah. I designed the very large cookies to match the ark on the invitations which had a unique layered paper look to them.

Love is Sweet

I recently made these fun gift boxes for a client who sent them to Z100 in New York City. One of the hosts on their morning show had just gotten engaged and my client wanted to send something fun to congratulate her. The host loves pink, sparkles, and candy so we came up with a “Love is Sweet” theme for the gift box. It included engagement ring cookies, hard candy cookies, 2 kinds of lollipop cookies, sugary mini heats, and my personal favorite, Hershey kiss cookies {I love these with personal messages for valentine’s day!}. Everything was done in shades of pink and silver.

We didn’t want to leave out the rest of the morning show so we sent along a second gift box with logo and sound wave cookies.
